About Sightline Integrated Arts

Sightline is a Christian Program for homeschool students ages 6-18. The teachers at Sightline are all professing Christians who love Jesus and teach students from a Biblical World view. Classes focus on the subjects being taught, but regularly integrate the Word, prayer time and devotionals that relate to the topic of discussion. Non-Christian students are welcome and treated with love and respect. Students are not required to profess Christ to attend the program, but must understand that teachers may discuss Christian issues and Biblical ideas as well as ask for prayer requests and have a prayer time.

Why Integrated Arts?

At Sightline, we interconnect the Arts with literature, history, math and science. Each year the learning revolves around a time period. The focus for 2023-2024 is Ancient Times (Creation to 500AD).

Interconnected Subjects

Students are more engaged and able to learn when subjects are interconnected!

Experiential, interconnected learning better engages both sides of the brain. Listening and Analyzing processes occur in the left hemisphere, but visual and spatial processes are handled on the right. By combining multiple styles of learning, the brain forms stronger overall connections and is able to store more relevant information.
